Cholera Outbreak Claims 9 Lives in Rivers

Reports say nine people have been killed following an outbreak of cholera in Soku community in Akuku-Toru local government area of Rivers State.

In9ja.com, gathered that there would be more fatalities if efforts are not put in place to mitigate the situation.

It was further learnt that the outbreak was as a result of bad and contaminated drinking water.

Meanwhile, Information available to in9ja.com, reveals that the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), in its interventionist effort, has reached out to the community with its rapid response medical team.
