Netanyahu Bent on Rafah Offensive Despite Pleas

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has maintained that his troops will advance on the Gazan city of Rafah, defying pleas to reconsider.

Recall that French President Emmanuel Macron was among those warning PM Netanyahu off, telling him the human cost of Israel’s operation in Gaza was intolerable.

Instead, Mr Netanyahu has ordered his army to prepare for a ground assault.

In9ja.com, learnt that 1.4 million Palestinians are sheltering in Rafah, which has already come under bombardment.
