Sultan of Sokoto and Chairman Northern Traditional Rulers’ Council, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, has stated that things are not okay in Nigeria and the north in particular, as the two monsters that have been harassing the citizens are insecurity and poverty.
The Sultan expressed fear that with millions of Nigerian youths left without jobs and food, Nigeria is sitting on a keg of gunpowder.
While speaking at the 6th Executive Committee Meeting of Northern Traditional Rulers Council in Kaduna, on Wednesday, the Sultan said there is no time to hide anything, stressing that Nigeria has reached a level where people are very agitated, hungry and angry.
