Hardship: NLC Maybe Forced to Demand N1m as New Minimum Wage – Ajaero

President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, has stated that due to Inflation in the country,  NLC may demand N1 million as new minimum wage for government workers.

Mr Ajaero, spoke while featuring in an interview on Arise Television. He said the new demand becomes necessary against the background of Nigeria’s sky-high inflation.

He revealed that a bag of locally produced corn is about N56,000 or more.
