Heed to Advise of Not Returning to South Africa after AFCON, Peterside to Nwabali

Worried by the alleged threat from some South African fans, former Super Eagles goalkeeper and media officer, Idah Peterside, has said that Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, has been warned against returning to South Africa.

The ex-Super Eagles international, stated this after the Nigerian team defeated South Africa 4-2 on penalties in the semifinal of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Recall that Nwabali saved two penalties as Nigeria defeated South Africa to move to the final where they will lock horns with the Elephants of Ivory Coast in Sunday’s showpiece at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium, Abidjan.
