Insecurity: Senate to Interface with Security Chiefs Today

The Nigerian Senate has revealed that it has summoned the security chiefs over the rising insecurity between today, Wednesday February 7th and Thursday February 8th, 2024, to find a way to curb the menace of criminals in the country.

The chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance, and Other Financial Institutions, Senator Adetokunbo Abiru (APC, Lagos East), revealed this on Tuesday.

He also announced that the planned interface with the CBN Governor, Olayemi Cardoso, has been shifted to Friday due to the meeting with the security chiefs.
