Erstwhile Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Bode George, has stated that the party would not form an alliance with any other opposition party for the 2027 election.

Speaking during a media parley in Lagos on Wednesday, he also urged former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to bury his ambition of contesting for the presidential ticket again in 2027,

He enjoined the former vice president to support a southern candidate in 2027, stating that the south has to complete their eight years in office before power could return to the north in 2031 just as he maintained that PDP will not form alliance with any other opposition party.
