The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and the arms wing, Eastern Security Network, ESN, have refuted claims by the Nigeria Police, Imo State command that they have cleared camps belonging to the pro-Biafra agitators.

Reacting to the claim by the Police, the group said it has no camps in Umulolo at Okigwe and Owerri environs of Imo State.

Recall that the Army had accused the group members of committing carnage, stating that its troops stormed their camps at Okigwe where they recovered arms and dead bodies.

But in a statement on Sunday by the IPOB Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, the group said it has no such camps at Okigwe in Imo State.
